This personalized experience provides you with the tools & support to creatively move all types of bodies, build intentional playlists, hone your voice & teaching style, and confidently lead a group YoBa Barre Class.
Our 8 week program is perfect for those with less than 1 year teaching experience. You are passionate about movement of all kinds as a way of getting out of your head & into your heart, and believe movement should be designed for all bodies. You’re ready to share your love for movement with the community but need some extra support learning basic anatomy & physiology, the fundamentals of our YoBa Barre technique, how to count music, and growing as a teacher.
Our 4 week program is perfect for those with over 1 year experience teaching in studio classes. You are passionate about movement of all kinds as a way of getting out of your head & into your heart, and believe movement should be designed for all bodies. You are rooted in your teaching voice & style and can confidently lead a group of students and know how to count music, but need to learn the fundamentals of our YoBa Barre technique in order to teach at our studio.
While our apprenticeship program doesn’t guarantee you a spot on YoBa Team’s, you will leave as a more confident, grounded instructor with a deeper understanding & appreciation for movement. All clients who are enrolled in our Apprenticeship Program will be required to sign a Non- Disclosure agreement.
All interested applicants must teach a 30 minute demo before acceptance into our apprenticeship program. Think of this as your interview & your opportunity to share what you know with one of our senior instructors! You may teach whatever style of Barre or movement you are used to practicing or teaching. You will be expected to teach with music & a mic.
