When do we meet?

Check the Teacher Training page for the upcoming specific dates and times!

What are my requirements outside of weekend sessions?

As with most personal commitments, you’ll get out as much as you put in! We recommend giving yourself at least 30 hours (5-10 hours each week) of space each month to get the most out of your time with us. Outside of our weekend sessions, responsibilities include:

Class Observations

Required Reading & Journal Reflections

Practice Teaching

Reviewing Material Covered in Sessions for Quizzes & Tests

Are our required readings included in the cost of the program?

Your required reading will be an additional cost! Here’s what you’ll need to purchase:

Living Your Yoga - Judith Lasater, PhD, PT

The Yamas & Niyamas: Exploring Yoga’s Ethical Practice - Deborah Adele

The Art of Communicating Book by Thich Nhat Hanh

What if I can't make all the dates of the program?

Attendance can be either in person or Live through zoom. Any dates that need to be zoom'ed are to be discussed ahead of the program start date.

If timing doesn’t work out right now, we offer at least 2 trainings each year. Both programs offered cover the same content.

What about taking class during the program?

You’ll have complimentary access to Virtual Classes & some in studio classes over the course of training for observation and integration. You’re welcome to join us for your own movement more often at your own cost!

What happens after YTT?

You’ll receive your 200-hour Yoga Alliance RYT certification at the end of the program, which will give you the option to register for Yoga Alliance. You leave with the foundation to teach a 60 minute Vinyasa Class anywhere & support in finding your next path after Yoga Teacher Training.

If you’re interested in teaching yoga with YoBa Studio, we have Apprenticeship Opportunities available after YTT!

What if I don't want to teach?

Many of past graduates don’t end up teaching & that’s wonderful too!  You’ll learn how to safely build a sustainable yoga practice for yourself and your community, whether you aspire to teach or just want to deepen your understanding of movement & yoga. Feel your body in a way you’ve never felt before & inspire others to do the same if that serves! Either way, this program is for you!
